Davido who is currently in Los Angeles was spotted with “Dream Girls” star Jennifer Hudson.

The “Aye” chart topper was casual in a white tee, jeans, and black slippers. But of course, his get-up would not have been complete without his gold chains.

“She cool like that! !!! Great Person” he captioned the photo of Jennifer who strikes quite a sexy pose in a black tank top, jean shorts and see-through pant hose.

Over 50 Suspected Terrorists Killed in Raid on Borno Hideout

About 53 suspected terrorists were allegedly killed during a raid on a makeshift camp used by terrorists in  Bulungu and Miyanti, Borno State.

The Defence Headquarters also reportedly revealed that a fuel dump used for storing fuel and vehicles, including seven motorcycles and some Toyota Hilux trucks, were destroyed in the raid Punch reports.

Also, 15 rifles, 11 machine guns and ammunition belonging to the terrorists were said to be confiscated by the troops.

Too Provocative? Mexico’s 1st Lady Slammed for “Sexy” Magazine Cover

Angelica Rivera de Peña, the First Lady of Mexico is under fire for being “sexy”.

Angelica is on the cover of the July 2014 issue of fashion magazine – Marie Claire Mexico, with her daughter – who shares a striking resemblance with actress Mila Kunis.

We all know sex sells, and the world is constantly presented with alluring women on magazine covers, selling products on billboards and on the TV.

Angelica smoulders on the cover rocking a ruffled white shirt, a tuxedo jacket and black leggings. Inside the issue, she flashes her long legs for the cameras in a strapless evening gown and trench coat.

It may be appealing to the world but critics are not amused, stating that the first lady should be “regal, maternal and business-like” and not “sexy”.

The fashion is clearly striking in “Girl Power” edition, but it is her poses that are being labelled provocative.

Gay Nigerian in London Speaks on Extreme Deliverance to “Cure” Him

i-D Vice, one of London’s top fashion websites released an article asking “why is it so hard to be gay and black”.

They discussed about  American musician Frank Ocean and CNN journalist Don Lemon as well as a Nigerian.

A London based Nigerian journalist who used the pseudonym Adejola Funmi shared his experience coming out. Funmi was expelled from his Christian school for being homosexual, it was labelled not “Christ like”.

He was later sent to Nigeria, so they could “cast the gayness out”.

Adejola travelled from church to church for deliverance, “I slept in church for about three days, during that time prayer warriors came around me and were praying… they didn’t give me any food and they’d whip me with branches of palm trees. They were whipping me to cast the gayness out of me.” he shared.

To also “cure” his homosexuality and cast out demons, he was stripped naked and bathed in a river by the church, forced to drink snail water and lick grounded charcoal.

“One should no more deplore homosexuality than left-handedness.” he concluded.

“My Heart Aches”, Jonathan Pens Article on Missing Chibok Girls

Has the Nigerian government reduced its effort to find the missing school girls abducted in the Chibok area of Borno in April?

According to the commander-in-chief, absolutely not.

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan wrote an article for the Washington Post about the Federal Government’s effort to find the girls abducted by Boko Haram.

GEJ who confesses he has remained quiet about efforts by the Nigerian military, police and investigators says, “I am deeply concerned, however, that my silence as we work to accomplish the task at hand is being misused by partisan critics to suggest inaction or even weakness.

My silence has been necessary to avoid compromising the details of our investigation. But let me state this unequivocally: My government and our security and intelligence services have spared no resources, have not stopped and will not stop until the girls are returned home and the thugs who took them are brought to justice. On my orders, our forces have aggressively sought these killers in the forests of northern Borno state, where they are based. They are fully committed to defending the integrity of their country.”

Also a parent, he says “My heart aches for the missing children and their families…I know how awfully this must hurt.”

He sheds light on thousands of people who have been killed and affected by the Islamist terrorist group since 2010, and that the FG will press on, “We will not succumb to the will of terrorists.”

In September, GEJ plans to urge the United Nations General Assembly to establish an External Intelligence Response Unit to help share security information on threats in West Africa, and if needed special forces and law enforcement to confront terrorism whenever it occurs.

He also calls for unity between Christians and Muslims as well as understanding.

President Jonathan finishes optimistically saying, “Something positive can come out of the situation in Nigeria: most important, the return of the Chibok girls,  but also new international cooperation to deny havens to terrorists and destroy their organizations wherever they are — whether in the forests of Nigeria, on the streets of New York or sanctuaries in Iraq or Pakistan. Those who value humanity , civilization and the innocence of children can do no less.”

Ice-T’s Grandson Arrested for Accidentally Killing Roommate

Rapper and star of “Ice Loves Coco” reality TV show Ice-T‘s grandson has been arrested for accidentally shooting and killing his roommate.

19-year-old Elyjah Marrow was fiddling with a gun in his apartment on Tuesday when it accidentally went off, fatally wounding 19-year-old roommate Daryus Johnson.

He has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, reckless conduct, possession of firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of a stolen firearm.

Elyjah who is the son of Ice-’s daughter, is currently in custody.

34 Weeks Pregnant Alysia Montano Runs 800m

WOW, be inspired BellaNaijarians.

Alysia Montano was brave enough to take on the tracks on Thursday in the US Track and Field Championships despite being 34 weeks pregnant.

Alysia who is a five-time national champion, is scheduled to give birth to her first child in just seven weeks, and finished 2 min 32.13 secs.

Although, the 28-year-old finished last in her heat, it didn’t matter as the crowd only had eyes on her, not the winner. She had a standing ovation from everyone.

“I’ve been running throughout my pregnancy and I felt really, really good during the whole process. I just didn’t want to get lapped and be the first person to get lapped in the 800.” she said to reporters.

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan visited the victims of the blast at the Emab Plaza/Banex Plaza area, Wuse II, Abuja on Wednesday evening, today Friday 27th June 2014.

GEJ who was in Equatorial Guinea for the 23rd Ordinary Session of African Union Heads of States and Government in Malabo, announced that he was leaving to attend to the crucial situation of the country.

He was briefed by Security Operatives during his visit.

Jonathan told reporters that “Nigerians are struggling, thinking about how to contribute to (the) nation’s development and working very hard to take care of their families (while) others are busy to kill people.”

He added, “It is regrettable. But surely we will get over it.”

Boko Haram Attacks Borno Military Post|21 Soldiers & 5 Civilians Killed

Boko Haram attacked a military post near Damboa town of Borno State on Tuesday, leaving 21 soldiers and five civilians dead.

The attack reportedly occurred at Bulabulin-Ngaura village, Premium Times reports. 

The terrorists were said to have arrived  in over ten trucks and motorcycles armed with heavy weapons like rocket launchers, anti-aircraft and several assault rifles.

“We could not match them because we had Ak47 rifles that are not fully loaded. When we realized that they have taken over the place, some of us escaped to Maiduguri and other places but many could not make it. As we were busy engaging them I saw over 16 bodies of my colleagues on the ground that made me to give up because I was not having enough ammunition to carry on,”  said a soldier.

The soldier also said he believed that some of his colleagues were abducted.

Suarez Banned from World Cup for Biting Giorgio Chiellini│Fined £66,000

Earlier this week, it was reported that Luis Suarez bit Giorgio Chiellini, a player from the Italian team during Tuesday’s Uruguay vs. Italy World Cup match.

Following the incident, FIFA has banned Uruguay’s Suarez from all “football-related activities” for four months, ruling him out of the rest of the World Cup and the start of the domestic season, The Guardian reports.

He has also been banned from entering any football stadium during the duration of the  ban, and has been fined £66,000.

“Such behaviour cannot be tolerated on any football pitch, and in particular not at a FIFA World Cup when the eyes of millions of people are on the stars on the field,” said Claudio Sulser, chair of the disciplinary committee.
